Identify your stressors.
We experience and manage stress uniquely from each other. There are things that are stressful for a person, but a motivational factor for you. It is very important for you to identify first the things that stress you most of the time.
Find a way to control it.
A way to manage your stress varies depending on your personality. This may be a trial-and-error phase, but it’s one of the most ideal things to be acknowledged. There are several activities that may help you cope up with stress. Most of the time, it is based on what you are passionate about. So when you are stressed, you may opt to try writing, dancing, singing, exercising, or even a time with friend or family may help. This is a phase wherein you give time to discover. Don’t rush and try to resolve one factor at a time.
Love yourself more.
Most of our stressors come from the things that we usually do – our studies or job. In here, you may consider giving enough time for yourself to prevent the stress from being out of control. It is true that the more relaxed, healthy, and happy you are makes you more capable to handle things. Don’t forget to eat right, exercise, and do the things that make you happy. May it be a regular vacation, or a quick breaks. A wise man once said, “It’s not just about managing your time, but also managing yourself.”
Get yourself a great support system.
Opening up to other people can be difficult, but keeping things inside is really harder. If you accept help from others, it will give you more opportunity to learn and find ways that makes you better. A friend, a family member, a psychologist, or whoever you want to talk to… make sure that the people you trust, and listen to doesn’t just tolerate you but guide you in better understanding life’s stress and properly managing it.
